Registration Information and Instructions
ICALP'06 and associated satellite workshops have
the following registration categories:
- Early: Monday April 10
Wednesday May 31 Saturday, June 10;
- Late: Sunday June 11 Sunday July 2
- On site: From Monday July 3
Participant categories
There are three categories of participants:
- EATCS members: access to all sessions of the conference,
proceedings, coffee / tea breaks, lunches, welcome reception, excursion
and a one year EATCS membership fee.
This is the preferred registration category.
If you are not yet an EATCS member, you may become one automatically
just by registering under this category, and then benefit from the
reduced fee. The ICALP organization will then forward your
data to the EATCS for administrative processing.
If you are already a member of the EATCS, notice that the EATCS member
registration category includes a one year membership fee. This will
apply even if you have already paid your EATCS fee for 2006: in that
case, you will be granted a one year membership in advance.
- Students: the same as the EATCS-members
category, but without the excursion. For the student fee, a signed
(e.g. by the head of the department) confirmation of a student status
is needed.
- Non-EATCS Member: the same as the EATCS-members
category, without the one yeat EATCS membership fee.
Please notice that lunches are included in the fees. Also note
that the lowest non-student fee is only available for members of the
EATCS. If you are not already a
member of the EATCS, you can become one just by registering under the
EATCS member category (see below).

Joint Meeting Fees (in Euros)
ICALP'06 is co-located with the 8th ACM-SIGPLAN International
Conference on Principles and Practice of Declarative Programming
PPDP'06 and with the 17th International Symposium on
Logic-based Program Synthesis and Transformation LOPSTR'06.
Participants attending more than one event will benefit from
reduced fees. For participants to ICALP and LOPSTR, or ICALP and
PPDP the fees are given below. Discounts are also available for participants
registering to all events: please use the on-line registration form to compute the corresponding
fees and complete your registration.
Participants (of all categories) registering on-site will incur in an additional
fee of 50 Euro on the late fee.

Workshop Registration
There are nine workshops preceding and following the conference.
Participants (of all categories) to one of the conferences who also
register in at least one workshop will benefit from a discount.
The fees for one workshop provide access to all sessions of the
workshop, coffee / tea breaks, and lunches.

The workshop fee structure is organized in a per-day basis:
the registration for one workshop on one day gives access to all the workshops
on that day.

Social Program
There are several events included in the ICALP social program, including the welcome reception on
Monday 10th in S. Servolo, the excursion to the Islands of the Lagoon
(Murano, Burano and Torcello) on Wednesday 12th, the conference
banquet on Thursday 13th as well as the firework display on the
Saint Mark Basin on Saturday 15th. As described above, most events are
included in the conference fee, except for the conference banquet
which must be payed separately.
Access to the Welcome Reception and to the Excursion
can also be acquired separately, as it might be needed for
accompanying people or students. Ticket prices of all the social events

Payment and Registration form
Payments can be made either by credit card (VISA and MasterCard only),
or through bank transfer. The link below will give you
the registration form for ICALP/PPDP/LOPSTR'06
and associated workshops. Please complete the form with the
registration information: it will create a PDF file that you must
send, by FAX only, to the ICALP/PPDP/LOPSTR'06 Secretariat.
The fax number is clearly printed in the bottom the form.

The registration for ICALP/PPDP/LOPSTR'06 and workshops is handled by the

Cancellation and Refund Policy
If you want to cancel after registering for
ICALP/PPDP/LOPSTR'06 and workshops, 80% of the registration sum will
be refunded if you cancel before the early registration deadline
(May 31, up to and including). No refunds will be processed after this
date.
Pending Amounts
Any differences arising in registration fees will be settled on site
by the Secretariat. In the event that registration funds were wired
late or, for unexplained reasons, were not credited to the Secretariat
account at the time of registration, a photocopy of the receipt will
be required. If no proof of payment can be presented, full payment
will be required on site.
Accomodation and Conference Hotels
We regret to inform you that the rooms at S. Servolo Lodgings and Junghans
Lodging Centre are now fully booked. From now on, we can only provide accommodation in three, four or five star hotels (on request).
For these hotels, reservations and related services will be handled by
the conference secretariat. Please use the
